Blockchains rely on hardware as their foundation, making it crucial to ensure the integrity and authenticity of these machines. Automata’s Proof of Machinehood enables onchain verification of authentic hardware through hardware attestations, providing a secure, verifiable base for protocols, developers, and users.
A key use case we focus on is TEE Coprocessors, which execute complex computations offchain within Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) and publish verified results onchain. This approach enforces execution integrity while offloading computationally intensive tasks from the blockchain.
Since its founding in 2019, Automata Network has been a part of and received recognition from, the Confidential Computing Consortium, League of Entropy, Web3 Foundation, Berkeley Blockchain Xcelerator, and Rust Foundation.
